How this works

Researchers can post opportunities. You can post any openings your lab has for undergraduate research, including 399 projects, paid research, work-study projects, and volunteer opportunities.

Students can post interests and experience.

Researchers can browse the student pages, to see which student(s) may be a good match for your lab. You can contact a student by email.

Students can browse the opportunities, and contact a researcher by email

How do I post an available job to the website?

  1. Login using your usual northwestern net-id
  2. If this is your first time to the site, you will need to register (see below for how to register)
  3. If you are already registered, you need to login using your registered username and password (NOT your net-id) .
  4. You should now be able to post jobs for your lab, remove jobs for your lab, and search student resumes.

How do I register?

  1. Choose a lab-login name for your lab. Make sure it is NOT your net-id.
  2. Choose a password for your lab. Make sure it is NOT your net-id password.
  3. You are now registered, and should be able to post jobs and search student resumes
  4. You are welcome to share your lab-login name and password with select senior people in your lab who may need to post jobs or choose students to work in the lab.

How do I search student resumes?

Just click on "search student resumes," and it should be self-explanatory. Click on "detail" for more information about the student, including a copy of the student's resume if it is available.
