Assistant Chair in Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University The Mechanical Engineering Department is seeking applications for an Assistant Chair. The Assistant Chair is a non-tenure track faculty member who focuses on administrative tasks and processes to advance the strategic, research and teaching missions of the department. The Assistant Chair will work closely with the Department Chair, Associate Chair, and other faculty and staff inside and outside the department to best leverage the efforts and the goals of Mechanical Engineering, McCormick and Northwestern.
