Students interested in applying to Northwestern for Graduate School
The lab is currently seeking highly-qualified graduate students for work on projects involving in vivo electrophysiology.  If you feel you are particularly well qualified,  please send an email to Mitra Hartmann that includes an description of your undergraduate major, prior research experience, and an explaination of why you feel you are well qualified for the lab.  Most importantly, please clearly describe the type of research projects you think you might be interested in doing if you were to join the lab.

                PLEASE NOTE:
Even if you email me about a research position as a graduate student, you must follow the standard application procedure to be admitted to the graduate program at Northwestern.

The application process is straight-forward, and is described on the websites listed below. You should choose the department (ME, BME, or NUIN) that best matches your interests and background.  Application procedures for other departments at Northwestern can be found on those departments' webpages.

Financial aid information is also available on the above pages.   Students admitted to the PhD program are generally funded for the duration of their studies, through a combination of fellowhips, scholarships, TA's and RA's.   You should contact the people involved in the admissions process, who are listed on the web pages given above, to find out more information.
