High bouncer

John Glassmire and Dan Aukes built a device that bounces a steel ball indefinitely.

A microphone in the base detects the "click" each time the ball bounces.

A computer triggers a magnetic pulse to give the ball enough extra energy to replace the energy lost in the bounce
